What just happened to my CRM online?

Sometimes when you log into Dynamics 356 Customer Engagement (or CRM) online you can notice that something is changed and you ask yourself what happened.

Microsoft does publish Service Updates and what's included in them here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2925359/microsoft-dynamics-crm-online-releases

So if you go to Settings -> About

and look at that page

or like this for Unified Interface

Microsoft themselves explains that the last part of version numbers are the Service Update like this "Service Update 22 will now correspond to version number 22xx." In the image above you can see that we are currently on Service Update 6 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.1.

You can look at future releases for your CRM Online by going to

https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/Home#/MessageCenter

Please note that to use admin center you need at least one Dynamics Admin role in Office 365 they are listed here:
